I’m scared to evangelize. It’s horrible, but true. It’s something I want to grow in. I just read an article by Piper dealing with boldness in evangelism. Here’s the thrust of his point,
The battle has to be fought not mainly at the level of technique or strategy, but at the level of how absolutely real and relevant and precious Jesus Christ is to me.
Lesson: love Him more. You talk about the things you love, even to strangers. That’s good stuff.

I’ve often thought the same way, but was never able to muster up enough love to overcome my fear.
However, after taking the Way of the Master course here at the chapel, I was able to go in with a simple gameplan. Now, the more I share with people, the easier it gets every time. The first couple times I was just trying to get through the “plan”. Now, I’m actually able to talk with them freely without having my heart racing 100MPH.
