I have several things that I’d like to ask you to pray for.
We have friends that have left all to serve Christ in Asia. Nick Langford just arrived and you can check out his blog for some funny accounts of the culture that he’s immersing himself in. The Heinrich’s moved several month’s ago and their blog chronicles their experiences too. Would you consider laboring in prayer for these guys?
Also, we are blessed to have neighbors who are unbelievers. One is a committed Darwinist who calls himself an agnostic. The other neighbors are a homosexual couple. We’ve enjoyed getting to know both neighbors. I’ve had the chance to introduce a rational defense for Christianity with the Darwinist but haven’t shared anything with the homosexual couple yet. Would you pray that God would open opportunities to share the gospel with our neighbors? Pray that the Lord would draw their heart and that they would come to faith in Christ.

If you have folks interested. I have some of Nick’s postcards, that I can mail to you. Our Goal. His face on 1000 fridges.
We join you in this prayer effort. These guys have given all. I ask the Lord to be their sustaining grace. protector and strength in all things.
Hey, I sure am struggling with how indoctrinated our christian culture is with the health, wealth and prosperity doctrine. I am exposed to very different and diverse backgrounds these days attending eLife and it is very deep rooted.
I never hear anyone ask the Lord to sustain them through what ever suffering He has for them. It is always heal me now and heal me quickly. I love these people and really hope to show them the way of the Lord’s people and that is to join Christ in suffering for the sake of the gospel. As I think on the issue I am presented with in regards to this law suite I see it as the Lords call to walk out these things again for my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Love you BJ. Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks.
We too are blessed with a homosexual couple that lives about 3 doors down from us. The Lord has allowed us to develope a trust relationship so far. I look forward to the day that we can share Christ with them.
I will pray for you and the opportunity to share with these two people from very different backgrounds and worldviews.
You know what I miss the most, our road trips where I had to continually roll the window down.
You (and they) may want to look at a book by Kerby Anderson:
A Biblical Point of View on Homosexuality
Here’s a link to his publisher. He is teaching the Sunday School class I have been attending at Prestonwood Baptist. His latest series on Islam is outstanding.
Will try that again:
